I have a 2007 Dakota 3.7 and have a rough idle, spark plugs are new,fuel injectors are new, is this a vacuum leak ?

check everything you can under the hood your air intake system all of it especially make sure all clamps are tight .. and make sure all vacuum hoses are good and not cracking or broken or just loose . you might run a little fuel cleaner through a tank of gas too cleaning the engine fuel system up some. just a few ideas.. check your catalytic converter for clogged up.
disconnect the exhaust pipe before the cat and run the engine to see if it still cut off.
if it run better, then that's the problem

WHAT HAPPENED WITH THESE VEHICLES, AS THEY GET OLDER THE INJECTORS GET STUCK. BASICALLY THE INJECTORS ARE LIKE DOOR FLAPS, THAY LET FUEL GET INTO TH ENGINE TO GIVE IT POWER. TO ACCELERATE AND GIVE YOU THAT BOOST YOU NEED. ROUGH IDLE IS BECAUSE THERE IS NOT ENOUGH FUEL INTO THE INJECTORS. USUALLY THE THE AMOUNT OF CYLINDERS YOU HAVE IN YOUR CAR, DETERMINES THE INJECTORS
4 CYL 4 INJECTORS AND SO FORTH

TRY A FUEL INJECTION CLEANER FIRST BUT IT NEVER REALLY WORKS IF ITS REALLY BAD. YOU MAY NEED TO REPLACE THE 3RD AND 4TH INJECTORS
