There is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) that addresses intermittent alarm self-activation. It involves replacing a small rubber bumper under the hood.

See your local Hyundai dealer and ask them about Bulletin Number 09-BE-026.

SOURCE: LOOKING FOR LOCATION OF ALARM

On a 2004 CLK430 the alarm siren is located on the drivers side by the fog light and you have to take out the fog light cover in order to see it. I'm not sure if it's in the same location on the 320 or not, but it's worth checking out.

Car alarm goes off for 20 seconds while driving Mercedes cos 500 2006

By alarm, so you mean a that you are hearing a loud siren type alarm while driving, or do you mean a light lit up in the instrument cluster / dash??

If it is a loud siren, it may be that the car was perviously fitted with an aftermarket alarm system and the alarm has a problem. There are some alarm installers that do not take in pride in their work and you can end up with a mess. These installations can cause all kinds of problems and they are the first thing I look for, and remove when there are issues.

If it is just a light in the dash that you don't understand, check out the image I uploaded below and please respond back with the shape of the light in question.

How do I get the alarm sound works.

The alarm beep was a option that was dealer installed. It has a factory option installed at the dealer. The siren itself is up front under the right front(passenger side ) of the cowl. If you remove the cover for the micro filter and the micro filter and look under cowl you should see the siren. If it is not there then you would have to buy the alarm system and have it installed and coded to the vehicle. If it is already there then it may have to be coded by the dealer to make it sound when locking and unlocking thru flash coding. Did it ever make a sound? If so it is there and may be a bad siren?

Alarm goes off even after unlocking with remote

If the alarm has a siren with a backup battery, then check the condition of the siren battery. Is it drawing a large charge (drop in amps from the battery. Run a parasitic drain test). If so, then the siren could be at fault.

Is the alarm fitted with a sonic motion detector? Looks like two tiny speakers in a unit fitted in the centre of the dash. If so, this unit could be faulty.

Many after market alarm systems by the way, tend to only last for a few short years before failing. Is this an aftermarket product or factory?
