sounds like you need to replace the flasher untit...it is under the dash at the driver's knees...easy fix and relatively cheep.. check to see if unit is properly plugged in before replacing..IF NOT THE PROB, THEN THE SW AT TURN SIG LEVER IS THE PROBLEM...NOT USUALLY AN EASY FIX,,,,,,MAY NEED PROFESSIONAL HELP....

SOURCE: I own a 2004 olds alero, sometimes my turn signals

Most likely it is the switch, But first try replacing the flasher ( they are around $10.00) which is alot cheaper than the switch is. When your flashers are working listen for the clicking and feel around under the dash ( it is the easiest way to find it) give that a try. make sure you are using the turn signal and not the hazard flasher (they both have there own flasher)

2002 impala, intermittent turn signals, push 4 way flasher button and they will work most of the time. how do you get the 4 way flasher switch out of the dash?

RARELY IS THE 4 WAY SWITCH AT FAULT . CHECK YOU FLASHER WHICH IS AN ALUMINUM CYLINDER PLUGGED IN AT YOU POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX. CHEAP PART TRY IT FIRST. COMBO SWITCH IS NEXT THING TO CHECK. WHERE DIMMER AND WIPERS ARE ON THAT STALK

I have 2004 malibu classic my problem is the turn signal is keeps on clicking and clicking

Most of the time the problem is the 4 way flasher switch located in the dash, the signal flasher is part of this switch so replacing the 4 way flasher switch solves the problem.

My left blinker sometimes works and sometimes doesn't and also sometimes I hear a clicking noise when I turn it on then it quits working. Is there a flasher relay for the turn signal, and if so where...

there is a flasher relay for the signals and its located behind the dash on the drivers side sometimes in the lower area of the dash.when the signals are working listen to the clicking noise to narrow down the area the flasher will be in.if all else fails you can go to the library and look for a book on your car and it will have the location in it.also if you know a tech he can help you locate it as well.

Where is the turn signal flasher located?

You more likely have a bulb that is no good. The next time your signals aren't working, pull over and check to see which bulb isn't working. Make sure the turn signal is on while checking. It should only be the left or right. Not both. Sometimes you can see the blown bulb with the hazards on depending on your model vehicle. Simply check the bulb thats not blinking for a tight fit. Then replace it if thats not the cure.

Sometimes they don't work when i start my vue .. shut it off and restart and they work . only happened 3 or 4 times in the last 4 months . my signal lights

well more times than not the problem is the 4 way hazard siwtch goes bad,the 4 way switch actually contains inside it the relay for the 4 way flashers, sometimes just turning it off and on or using the turn signals makes it work.but replace the 4 way switch

Turn signal flasher location 2004 impala

It should be in the hazard button, You have to pull it out and replace it. Try the junk yards they dont cost alot.

When you use a turn signal both flash at the same time on a 2004 Toyota 4-Runner.

Have you recently changed any bulbs? if so, start there. If not work the 4 way flasher button a couple times and try the t/signals again. I've seen those stick 1/2 on causing this type of problem.

NO TURN SIGNALS-BUT FLASHERS WORK

PROBLEM WAS FLASHER SWITCH WHICH HOUSES RELAY FOR TURN SIGNALS AND FLASHER UNIT--IT IS SOLID STATE AND WORKS WHEN YOU TAP ON IT--ORDERED ONE--IT SOUNDED LIKE A DIFFERENT RELAY BECAUSE SWITCH IS ABOUT 6 INCHES LONG AND EXTENDS BEHIND RADIO/CD/TAPE PLAYER--WHICH IS EASILY REMOVED (PUSH ON 2 SIDE TABS AND THEY POP OUT-GRAB THEM AND PULL ASSEMBLY OUT--PUSH RELAY OUT FROM BEHIND TOWARDS YOU--UNHOOK AND REPLACE--A 5 MIN REPAIR
GOOD LUCK
