SOURCE: My 1991 pontiac sunbird is leaking antifreeze. It

Age of vehicle determines that you get a replacement hose and clips first. Drain down the Coolant into a container, replace the hose, and refill, remembering you are going to loose coolant by spillage on the drain down.

SOURCE: heater fan in 1991 Pontiac sunbird stopped

Replace the blower motor resistor assembly. To locate the electrical connector for the blower motor resister, it is usually attached to a heating or air conditioning Duct, or the blower motor case. You can also trace the Purple Wire from the blower motor back to the resister. Also make sure that the blower fan is not jamed up with somthing in side and will spin freely,or binding same thing, this will also cause the fuse to blow right away. And does the motor actually spin a bit before it blows the fuse or does it blow the fuse at the same time the switch is turned on? Good Luck and have a good XMASS.

The horn dont work so is it a wire or spark plug

The spark plugs have nothing to do with the horn. First check the fuse, if thats ok, then find the horn and see if the wires are disconnected, if so , reconnect. if still not working, get a test lamp and check for power to the horn. if you have power but it still does not work then it could be the earth to the horn, clean the earth contacts, if still no good then change the horn. If you dont have power to the horn , then you need to check the switch, at this point if you have no mechanical knowledge , i suggest you take the car to an auto electrician.

My horn don't blow in my 1991 pontiac sunbird

In most cases this problem is caused by the rotating ribbon circuit contact under the steering wheel having a broken filament, the part is known as a clock spring contact, u will need to properly disarm the airbag and remove the steering wheel to access the part. WARNING: Failure to follow factory Airbag disarming protocol can result in an unexpected Airbag deployment and possible serious personnel injury or death.

HELPPPP!

There is a TSB on this issue the horn pad needs to be replaced. See Bulletin below.

Bulletin Number: 93-3-9
Reference Number: 333202
Publish Date: 5/93

Subject:
INTERMITTENT HORN BLOWING WHEN CAR IS COLD (REPLACE CONTACT ASSEMBLY/VINYL PAD)

Models Affected:
1989-93 SUNBIRD AND 1992-93 GRAND AM MODELS

CONDITION
Some owners of 1989-93 Sunbird vehicles and 1992-93 Grand Am vehicles may experience intermittent horn blowing when car is cold.
CAUSE:
This condition may be caused by excessive shrinkage of the contact assembly components when cold. This forces the horn pad contact plates together which activates the horn.
