Here's a quick easy way to find blown fuses: Open your fuse box and look carefully at the tops of all the blade type fuses and you'll see a little piece of metal sticking up through the plastic on both sides of each fuse. Turn your key on and connect a test light to the negative battery terminal. Now touch the probe side of the test light to both pieces of metal on each fuse. If it lights up on both sides, the fuse is good. If it lights up only on one side, the fuse is blown. If it doesn't light up at all you either aren't making good contact or the circuit isn't powered up. Some circuits only power up under certain circumstances and you probably don't need to worry about it.

My dashboard lights dont work

Have someone check fuse under dashboard. Some dashboards have lights wired in series. If one light goes out, they all go out.

2004 ford mustang mach 1 brake lights dont work dont have manual to change the fuse

I don't believe there is a separate fuse for the high-mount brake light. Never was on older cars, that brake light is just spliced into the rear brake lights. Have you checked the bulb?

2004 ford mustang coupe brake lights dont work dont have manual to change the fuse

The fuse you will want to check is located in the fuse panel inside the vehicle down by the brake pedal to the left of the steering wheel. The fuse is the number 41 fuse and should be a 15 amp fuse. Just in case you are unable to read the numbers, I have a picture of the fuse layout below and have marked the fuse for you. If you would like an owners manual for your vehicle, feel free to email me at [email protected] with your make, model and year of your vehicle. I will be happy to email you a copy of it and no there will NOT be a cost for it. Don't mind helping. If the fuse is good, you may be looking at the stop lamp switch itself. Hope this helps...,..

Look in your Vehicle manual for the fuse panel diagram and check the BRK Fuse, and also the Tail light fuse. If both are good, the problem may lye in the brake light switch attached to the brake pedal.

My brake lights wont come on..ive changed the bulbs and they still dont work...i cant find the brake light FUSE... 1993 TOYOTA CAMRY

Break light fuse would be in your main fuse panel, most likely under the dash somewhere on the drivers side. A "key" of sorts may be on a sticker near the panel or molded into the plastic cover. If not a key should also be in the vehicle manual as to what fuse is what. Next thing is the break light switch attached somewhere under the dash to the break peddal might be faulty. This is most likely a plunging kind of switch that activates the break lights as the pedal is being pressed. Good luck!

Lincoln ls back brake lights dont work

If you have the owners manual for this car look in the index for fuses. This will give you specific location of which fuse protects the brake light. Fuse block is typically located under the drivers side dash, near the floor. Have you changed the bulbs?
