The diagram shows the marks to be offset a little - the left one is slightly below the right one (facing the engine). Should they tultimately be even with each other or offset like the diagram shows?
They'll usually be offset just a hair, and I mean a hair. If it's a tooth off, it's wrong. Make sure the mark on the oil pump is lined up with the MARK on the gear, not the tooth. I think the mark is actually lined up with the trailing edge of the tooth.

One other question; if it still doesn't crank, could it be the cam sensor or something else wrong?
It cranks, but won't start. It will turn over and then it "pops". All the gauges are working. Will try to retime again and get back to you. Thanks for your help.
