funny how a damage wiring system will make you think its possessed. need to start checking out the wire harness and see what someone has done to the car. did you have a stero or something installed. before this started. also call the dealer and have your vin ready. find out if its had any recalls. they had a bunch of electrical issues with the dash boards. not sure if there is other issues also. but sure sounds like something is shorted making the horn and lights do weird things. have you smelled anything like burning plastic before it started. and hope you have good insurance if you do smell burning. might want to pull the panel off below the sterring wheel and see if you can spot any burnt wires or any wires that look like that have been spliced or taped together. it might even be an issue under the hood in the fuse block which is where all the power wires come and go.

I think you could use this manual method instead.. My nephew who is a full time mechanic uses it
most
of the times, and all mechanics look up to manuals. It's very easy he gets it from. www.reliable-store.com

SOURCE: Powere locks continuously lock and unlock with lights flashing, etc even when car is turned off.

Doors locking and unlocking, lights flashing. You have a possessed Suburban get a priest immediately! Or you have a short circuit. Try and remember if any work was done to your SUV and in what area. Then look for peeled, scraped or touching wires.

SOURCE: I lost my head lights, dome light, horn door

sounds like you have a bad ground somewhere. Check every ground strap that you can find, make sure it's tight, and not corroded, etc. Sounds like the accessories are trying to find a ground, and going through the brake light to do so, thus burning out from too much current.

SOURCE: security light came onm and

The security light is a real common problem on GM vehicles. You can fix this yourself, read this link for information, symptoms, and ways to fix it. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

The air conditioning probably got messed up when unhooking the battery. Id be looking for a fuse or relay that has been tripped.

2002 cadillac eldorado horn blows and lights flash everytime either doors are oppened. Security light on dash is not on. Need to stop this from happening any suggestions?

. Seems like the system is not being diarmed. If it wont disarm with remote or by the door klock key, try this. Don't use the power door lock button to lock the car. Lock it MANUALLY till its repaired

Lights quit flashing when Key Remote Locks or Unlocks car

The body controller for some reason has lost it's setting most likely. The dealer can reset with their "Star Scan" diagnostic tool. Many settings such as flash on lock or horn sound on lock can be turned on or off.

Help! my car is possessed

i may be wrong at this but i think it's your alarm system. headlights, doors and horn all connects to an alarm system (if your alarm system does this) i mean, some alarms, when you unlock or lock your car, the lights turn and horn blows simultaneously with the alarm. if you have an alarm system that seem to malfunction, it may also affect your doors, horn lights etc. have it checked or replaced.

well, as ive said, i may be wrong. =)
