I replaced my flasher unit, and my signal lights still blink 1-2 times then nothing. My hazards and brake lights work fine. I push the signal arm down and it blinks 1-2 times then stops, it even clicks back into its normal position after I make a turn. Left or right does the same thing

Sounds as though the signal relay (cube sized) switch has failed, this is normally located under the steering console once you have removed the cover panel.. I do hope this helps....

SOURCE: Brake light, reverse light and turn signal issues

Hello. The symptoms you are describing are likely due to a poor ground. Temporarily install a new ground wire by securing a piece of copper wire to the frame with a self tapping screw. Use this ground wire along with the hot wire to see if each of these lights works. If it does, trace the ground wire back to the frame, unscrew it and clean up the metal with emery cloth so you reestablish a good ground.

SOURCE: 1992 Ford Ranger Turn signal/Hazard light issue

Can you just check to make sure the ignition key switch is not staying over to far and not backing off when you try to start it. I had a truck that did that and it messed up my turn signals until I brought the key switch back a little after starting it. Just a simple idea. Be kind with your rating for me. Raz

I noticed my hazard lights aren't working and there is no clicking when I push the button. Turn signals and brakes are working fine. Any idea what this might be?

Michele, most systems run on a 3 flasher bases 1 for left 1 for right and 1 for hazard, it should be located with other flasher units, and check your relays.

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!! I replaced my flasher unit, and my signal lights still blink 1-2 times then nothing. My hazards and brake lights work fine. I push the signal arm down and it blinks 1-2 times then...

Have you replaced the relay because there's one of them as well with the flasher unit. I've been having a problem with my hazards not working but turn signals work fine. Maybe the arm on your steering column might be on its way out because they do get used alot.

1994 Chevy C1500 truck. No rear brake lights

Most likely this is a brake light switch issue. Replace switch.

If your emergency flashers don't work, all flasher bulbs are fine, but flashing too fast, then check and replace Hazard light switch.

have you tried the hazard flashers to see if they work and if the lights work when the hazards are on.if so then you will need to replace the signal flasher unit under the dash.it looks the same as the hazard flasher so make sure its the signal flasher you change.

92 caprice classic turn signals not working, but the bulbs are fine. Hazards, brakes, etc all work fine. Any ideas?

Yes, the problem is the turn signal flasher is defective. You can has two flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. That is why the hazard lights flash and the turn signals do not. Replace the turn signal flasher relay located on the drivers side of the steering column, mounted behind the instrument cluster in the convenience center. They are both mounted in the same location so turn on the hazard lights and the one that you put your finger on that is not clicking is the turn signal relay.

Turn signals were working...but blinking fast. now they don't work at all...replaced fuse in side panel near door and still nothing. Everything else works..headlights, wipers, hazards..what gives?

you have a separate flasher for the turn signals.this is what your problem sounds like.if all your lights are working including the signal indicator on the dash then it will be the signal flasher.if you turn on the hazard flashers and locate it under the dash, this will show you what the turn signal flasher will look like.then you will have to look for the flasher unit on the fuse panel that looks like the hazard flasher.replace the turn signal flasher and you will have your signal flashers again

I have no signals and when brakes lights are on, lose brake light to either side turn signal is set on

Hi!!

If you activate the turn signal switch and you step on the brake pedal, the turn switch (on the steering column) deactivates the brake light to make the signal light more visible. The bulb for the stop and turn lights is the same.

Turn hazard lights ON. If they don't blink, replace turn/hazard flasher, If one or more lights don't come on, replace bulb.

Check fuse and circuit wiring for broken or loose connections. If all looks fine, check following:

If front turn lights work fine, check brake/turn bulbs.

If turn lights come on but don't blink, replace turn signal/hazard flasher.

If front and back turn lights don't come on, replace switch on column.

Let me know how it worked out, Good Luck

2004 monte carlo. Turn signals dont work. The stalk still works with other functions, such as wiper, brights. The fuse is fine. Could it be a bad relay? When u push the stalk up or down nothing happens on...

try pressing the hazards on and off if they still don,t work replace the flasher unit. it is built into the hazard switch( all one unit ) change this and all will be good.
