'98 Buick Park Avenue Signal Switch Replacement

I have diagnosed my turn signal problem from the fuses, wiring, and signal stat to the signal switch in my 1998 Buick Park Avenue. I have the manual for models ranging between the years 1985 to 2002, but the instructions and diagrams are the most clear for older models. It would be helpful to have a set of instructions and diagrams for my specific year, make, and model.

I have a 2002 Park Avenue my turn signals do not work my flashers work

2002 Buick Park Avenue ' Park Avenue (VIN C) Service Manual ' Body and Accessories ' Lighting Systems ' Description and Operation ' Document ID: 643323

Turn Signal/Cornering Lamps
The HZDT/SIG fuse in the fuse block - underhood - left supplies battery positive voltage to the turn signal/hazard flasher module and have ground at G202. The turn signal lamps may only be activated with the ignition switch in the ON or ACCY position. The T/SIG fuse in the fuse block - underhood - left supplies battery positive voltage to the turn signal switch. When the turn signal switch is placed in either the left or right position, current flow is from the turn signal switch assembly to the turn signal/hazard flasher module. The turn signal/hazard flasher module then sends an on-off voltage signal to either the left or right turn signals and their instrument cluster (IPC) indicator. When the hazard switch is pressed, all the turn signal lamps will flash including both IPC turn signal indicators. The left turn signals have ground at G106, G400 and at G402. The right turn signals have ground at G105 and G400. The turn signal switch supplies battery positive voltage to the cornering lamps, the left cornering lamp has ground at G105 and the right cornering lamp has ground at G106.

Buick park avenue 1995 blinker/brake/dash lights

I have a 98 Bucik Park Avenue. I recently had it painted and when the body man put the lights back in I began having problems with the brake lights and turn signal lights. Only one brake light lights up and only on signal light lightsup and they are on opposite sides. I have changed the bulbs (all) and I have tested the fuses(All).

99 park avenue turn right side turn signals inop does it have a relay and were is it located

If the left side still works, its not the blinker relay, the thing you hear ticking. Both left and right signals go through the same signal stat. Turn on your hazard flashers and make sure the bulbs on both the left and right side come on. If the do, you may have a problem with the turn signal switch on the steering column itself. If only the left comes on, it could be bad bulbs on the right side or a wiring issue. Wiring issues are more rare on Park Aves.

On left turn the signal switch does not return to neutral

sounds like the signal canceling cam is not operating for one of 2 reasons. Either the cam canceller is broken or the signal switch has a broken plastic tab. The steering wheel must be removed to inspect and diagnose

The turn signal switch on 1998 Buick Park Avenue has failed, causing the right front and back signal lights to remain on even with ignition switch off. Need procedure for replacing switch and lever.

REplacing of the turn signal switch invoves the removal of the air bag and steering wheel for acess to the switch ( reminder to unplug the yellow connector for the air bag under dash first).
