SOURCE: I have a 2004 Impala. I need a Blend Door

dont waste you time and money, how many bad ones do you want to repace?its not that high priced. you should be able to buy that from any AC DELCO distributor. log onto the web and search AC DELCO and find the nearest one. the desler can tell you what other car lines use that part.

SOURCE: Drivers side blend door actuator not working

Hello: I have bad news for you, if you run the actuator without it connected to the door the actuator is ruined, it will have to be replaced. After replacement the system has to have the doors (actuators re-calibrated.) re-calibrated. This is done with a Tech 2, A GM special tool.

SOURCE: The driver side only blows

Yes it is most likely a vacuum actuator there are more then one . They open and close little doors in the ducts to deriect air flow inside the ducts . They are not easy to get at in most cases however you should look at all vacuum lines going to and near the unit its controlled by engine vacuum . exhust all other opptions first before takeing the dash out . The problem could also be electrical check the control switches make sure the switch is not bad on one side . Spend some time looking and thinking before you start riping things apart. Good luck with it

SOURCE: 2004 monte carlo heater door actuator replacement

This job requires the complete removal of the dash from the car and dis-assembly of the duct work to replace the blend door. You must have a factory manual to have any chance of not messing this up completely.

How do I replace the blend door actuator in a 2008 chevy impala ls

Its probably a warped blend door in the heater box. Check with a dealer, might be a recall item. Otherwise you gotta pull the heater box and replace the door. Dorman makes replacements(may be better than OEM

Blend door actuator for 2008 chevy impala

There are actually 4 blend door actuators. One for the heater, one for the a.c., one for the external air and one for the recirculating air. I checked in with a mechanic and he stated that there are two different part numbers but either one will work for any of the four. My experience was initailly with only one and it was suggested that i use all of the different systems and sure enough all four needed to be replaced. There are three actuators behind the glove box. 1. is to the very far upper right on the passenger side near the inside of the dash and the other is to the left behind the glove box on the passenger side more towards where the radio is, the third one being situated above the 2nd one. The 4th one is located above the gas pedal towards the center of the dash.n All four are not difficult to replace its just a matter of getting to them and working without being able to actuallty see them. sense of touch is crucial. =o)

Blend door actuator nocking sound nocks for a minute or so then stops everytime i enter vehicle

This is a very simple fix for the actuator on the passenger side. Simply drop the glove box down, and the actuator is located behind it. you can even feel it when it is clicking. you can find the replacements online or at an autoparts store for 25-35 bucks. it will probably take less than 30 min to swap it out.

Seems to me that you may be having an issue with your climate control blend door. It maybe getting stuck with something in its way or you may have a bad blend door actuator.
