These are trouble codes for your vehicles transmission. The 700 code is telling you the issue is with the transmission and the 888 code is a more specific code for the possible reason the 700 code has flagged on.
The P0888 trouble code refers to the parts inside the transmission that trigger the gear changes as you drive. These codes will not clear until the problem is repaired. Your best option here it to take your Dodge to a good transmission specialist and get them to do the work. I don't think this is a job you can do on you driveway.
P0888 = TCM Power Relay Sense Circuit.
P0700 = Transmission Control System (MIL Request).
It means there is at least one transmission code set in the TCM's memory. P0700 is an informational code only. More diagnosis is necessary to identify what the transmission fault is. This requires a scan tool that will communicate with the transmission module http://www.obd-codes.com/p0700
In the causes for po888 the main reason is sensor circuit malfunction with the wiring poor connection being listed. Check that the wiring connectors are free of moisture and that the pins are clean and tight. code p0700 is straight out TCM problem so again I would be carefully inspecting the wiring and connections at both ends
Code 700 is a generic code that means there is a problem with the transmission or the control module. Code 750 is for a problem with the low-reverse solenoid circuit. The circuit and the trans control module would need to be checked. A shop manual will be necessary to get the testing procedures.
that code usually means transmission control system malfunction.. Take it to AAMCO or another reputable service shop and they willl be able to dig a little deeper
i have a 2002 dodge caravan drove fine yesterday morning then tried to go back out and acts like it is stuck in 2nd gear and wont shift but will go in reverse just no other forward gears
