You can look up the error codes on http://www.obd-codes.com.
Because the error codes indicate heater circuit failure.
P0135 and P0155 mean the heater circuits for the front oxygen sensors are not working properly. You need to check the fuse.
#15 under the hood I think.
If that is OK, make sure the exhaust system is grounded. I believe the ground strap is on the back of the cylinder head - right side.

It would be rare that both O2 sensors died again, that quickly. I suspect the dealer didn't really do any diagnostics and just replaced parts (cheap option at least for them).

SOURCE: engine code p0133, p0134, p1133,

All those codes and such an easy fix. ALL of these codes point to your upstream 02 sensor. It's the one on the passenger side of the engine coming off the exhaust, very very easy to get to. Soak that puppy with PB Blaster then remove the electrical connector and remove and replace sensor. TRY to stay away from Bosch 02 sensors, have been known and reported problems with these. In my case, I didn't have a choice but to buy the Bosch, but I haven't had any problems with mine.

Hope this helps, look to get a tad more miles per gallon too.

SOURCE: Oxygen sensor replacement

It's something you can with simple tools, you have four O2 sensors. Your going to have to get the truck rescanned or if you have the DTC code, you can find out which O2 sensor has gone bad so you can replace it. Your going to have Two upstream O2 sensors on each exhaust bank, one O2 sensor before the Catalytic Converter, and the last one after the Catalytic Converter. Its like replacing a Spark plug and you can pick up the O2 sensor at any large Auto Parts store with a can of WD 40. Just unclip the wire leads to the O2 sensor and then with a O2 sensor socket or hint close end wrench and hammer, you can remove the O2 sensor from the exhaust pipe. Good luck and be safe.

2010 Buick Lacrosse 3.0 has check engine code 420/430 but the mechanic diagnostics do show show a bead catalytic convertor nor oxygen sensors. What else can it be?

The second sensor for the catalytic efficiency just looks at what's coming through. If there were no codes for an oxygen sensor then the catalyst may be going. Not unheard of. If it's going bad the code will start coming back more frequent.

I put 2,720.00 worth of work into my 97 Pontiac grand am. Engine light is flashing the car sputters and might get up to 40 mile per hour I took it out on the road again and got it up to 75 mile per hour...

Sounds like who ever did the work on your car needs to go back and check the plug wires to see if they are going to the right plugs. and check the fuel filter, and fuel pump pressure. I would also check the Catalytic Converter to see if it is stopped up, if so replace it. Check the throttle position sensor with an ohm meter, if bad replace it. Check the oxygen sensors as well. I am running out of Ideas, so I hope this helps.

Hi, no, they are not related. The oxygen sensor(s) are part of the ignition/emissions sytem and help regulate fuel flow/mixture. The A/C system is self contained and does not affect other engine systems. Mike

Own a 2003 Aston Martin DB7. The check engine light came on about 5 months ago immediately after having the under neath side of the nose of the car repainted. I took it to the dealership and they...

Well it seems your a victim of circumstance. What I mean by this is. The the engine uses a network of sensors to function properly. The first shop cleared the error code and this fiex it for a while but they didnt replace the sensor as it seemed to work fine, This also happened with the second sop. You need to have them check that code again and replace that sensor. The sensor is clearly defective. and if they did, it means that the Brain (cars cpu) is defective.

Check engine light comes on (Oxygen Sensor "Pending"), go's on and off. ???? 06 Kia Spectra 5-speed

I have a 2006 Kia Spectra hatchback 4D. It was a show room car and I'm leasing it since March 2009. The engine light comes on and off intermentaly. I took it in the Kia dealership in Calgary AB many twice and first time they said it was a part they needed flown in. Same issue after the part was tested, now they say they need to look at the wiring so they need take the engine out. I had it hooked up at Jiffy Lube free of charge and they said it was O2 sensory issue, take it to a mechanic and get it fixed there. Jiffy people said that dealerships dont care about the maintenance aspect of cars. They recommended me to take it to mechanics. Shouldn't the KIA people have picked up on the O2 sensor since its a computer diagnostic reading ?
