I read several posts where individuals were having almost the same problems. We checked the boot between the door and car sure enough there was a yellow wire broken. We fixed the wire and this fixed all the problems. Everything is working fine. Thanks your website is the best.
I have the same problem. Do not know cause but I remove large red 50 fuse in engine compartment fuse box, wait 15 sec and replace. Lock car and unlock. This seams to reset something and car is fine. This problems seams to appear when my battery is low.(?)
There are broken wires in the wiring harness between the frame and your driver's side door. These wires control all the windows and door locks in a 95 Jeep. Same thing happened to me. You will have to cut the rubber boot to get it off and check which wires are broken and repair them.
MY POWER WINDOWS WOULD WORK AND THEN NOT WORK, IT SEEMED TO BE WHEN I WOULD SHUT THE DOOOR THEN THEY WOULD WORK, THEN CLOSE THE DOOR AGAIN AND THEN THEY WOULD QUIT AGAIN. THEY ALL STOPPED WORKING AT THE SAME TIME, IT SEEMS TO HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR. NOW THEY WON'T WORK AT ALL.
I had the same problem with now power to windows, mirrors and seat. The common soulution is the orange and or black wire in the boot have broken between the door and post.
