I recently replace the crank shift sensor, but

I recently replace the crank shift sensor, I have a 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5s but apparently I still have the same problem! Each time I start the car it revs for quite some time before finally turning on. Also the car turns off while Im driving. I've been told it could be the fuel pump or fuel filter. What do you guys think it might be?

Switch on your car but don't start it, let it stay in that position for a few minutes. after start your car, if starts without problems then your problem is your fuel pump. but if problem is still there then it could be your fuel filter or timing of your car.

Nissan altima 2005 not shifting or showing speed

The speed sensor is probably disconnected or the wiring was damaged. The CPU needs this input to demand shifts.

I changed the CKP sensor on my 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5L and it ran for about five seconds and it cut off. Now, it only cranked over but would not start as it did before.

This type of sensor usually requires computer re-calibration!! This is only done by the dealer!! Why was the crank sensor replaced?

My check engine light is on and I've been told it is the cam sensor, but I can't find one. It's a 2005 nissan altima. Do they have a cam sensor and a crank sensor?

This engine has both. Nissan recommends replacing them at the same time, I think your local Nissan dealer will tell you the same thing. The cam and crank sensors are in the rear of the engine.Looking from the drivers fender find the right rear corner of the valve cover and look straight down the back of the head. the cam sensor is 3-4 inches down from the valve cover gasket surface.the crank sensor is basically straight down from the cam sensor but much harder to see. it is just above the oil pan gasket surface...
