P0300 is "random misfire detected" and P0301 is "cylinder 1 misfire detected". I would start by checking the condition of your spark plugs and replace as necesaary. NGK or ND plugs are recomended.

My 2002 Camry V6 is having some issues. Went in for an oil change that turned into a front struts, springs and mounts job. Then I was having some problem in the higher speeds waiting for the car to shift, so had a tune up done, which meant new spark plugs, and of course, the gasket! So now I am out about 1K and now the check engine light comes on. Had it checked out and and a catalytic code came up. They fiddled with it and got the check engine light off, but now the VSC and TRAC OFF lights are on. What does all this mean? Should I take the plunge and get the cat converter done now?

p0301 is cylinder # 1 misfire detected-- it could be plugs, wires, or coils. then run a good injector cleaner in tank, this may help to keep injectors clean. have a good holiday !!
