2014 Nissan Altima S 2.5. Where is transmission fluid pressure sensor located please?

Question edited for clarity, ' we're ' is a contraction of 'we are', and is not related to 'where'.
Question moved to model category.

Mentioned in the link

Look up the part and you will know what you are looking for. It says it is on the side of the transmission.

Question: where did you buy the new crank position sensor? I had the exact same problem with my 2004 Nissan Altima and bought new crank position sensor from one of the auto parts store. Put it in and same problem. I was baffled. Finally decided to get the crank position sensor directly from the dealer. Fixed the problem. This was my experience, not sure if your case will be the same.

My 2002 Nissan Altima will not start after it has been sitting for a while. The battery and spark plugs have been replaced. Took to AutoZone to pull the code which showed the camshaft position sensor. We...

If you turn the key and the starter motor makes the engine revolve then it is cranking or turning over. If that is all that it does then it is not starting. They are two different situations. I hope that you did not replace the "crank" as you stated it was a sensor issue. The problem with a diagnostic code is there is a piece that activates that sensor and that piece can be the problem. The codes are the same whether it is the sensor or the tone ring. Also there is a gap specification between the sensor and the tone ring. If it is too far away, the sensor wont see the magnet.

2002 nissan altima wont crank?

Check the transmission neutral start inhibit switch is not the cause of your problem. (try both 'P' to 'N' positions).
If the headlights work ok there should be enough power in the battery to at least make a solenoid type noise when start is attempted- so it may not be caused by a faulty alternator.
Check the battery terminals are clean and firmly attached to the battery,
Check battery is properly grounded to the chassis and motor,
Check that +12v is available at the starter motor engage solenoid when the ignition switch is held in the 'start' position - check any start slave relay operation.
If all above is OK, you may have a faulty starter motor.

I have Manual Nissan Altima 1997. It does not crank.

If you can hear the starter solenoid click, when you turn the key to start, then check that the large positive wire going to the starter solenoid from the battery has a good contact at each end. If you don't hear the solenoid click, then check that the small wire going to the starter solenoid has a good contact and power.

1993 nissan altima starts sometimes other times it does not crank over battery is good also installed new ignition switch

Could be the starter. Also how are your batter connections? Nice and tight and clean?? If so than check the single wire going into the starter. Not the battery cable, but the small wire that goes into the solenoid. Unplug that wire and put volt meter into the connector on the harness side and check for 12V, while you turn the ignition to "START" position. If 12V is present, suspect the starter.

CRANK SHAFT POSITION SENSOR 20002 NISSAN ALTIMA

1st, Nissan had a recall on Crank position sensors for 2002-2006 Altima's. Check with you dealer before you go doing any repairs. You may discover you can get your car repaired at no charge.
NHTSA Campaign ID number :O7V527000
Symptom: Erratic behavior. Stalling and no starts and very difficult to diagnose due to the time frame in which the component actually malfunctions. The warranty should not be limited to the original owner.
I would also need more specifics as to which engine you have so I might assist you in where the location of the sensor is. The Altima had a 4 and a 6 cyl engine offered that year.

Check your battery connections & battery condition, as well as connections at the starter. If those are cleaned and tightened, and battery is good, I'd start thinking about a new/rebuilt starter. $200. should cover parts & labor.
