SOURCE: Location of oil filter on Nissan Altima 2005

The oil filter is located behind the right (passenger) inner fender cover. It is right next to the crankshaft pulley at the bottom of the front of the engine facing toward the right front wheel. I do not have a picture at this time.

Hope this is helpful!

SOURCE: 2005 nissan murano sl, with rattling sound when accelerating

I recently experienced the same symptom with my '05 Murano and it was not a fuel problem. The dealer listed the cause as dry axle splines and replaced both front drive shaft assy's. Note that this was done as warranty with no cost incurred by me.

SOURCE: Replace rear wiper on 2005 Murano

You probably already figured this out, but you have to remove the wiper arm completely in order to replace the wiper blade.

The blades are an unusual size (somewhere around 14 1/2") and I believe they are only available from a Nissan dealership. They include printed instructions in the box but just in case, this is from the official Nissan service manual:

SOURCE: how do i reset my check engine soon light 2005

you can buy a code reader from an auto parts store that will give you the ability to reset the check engine light, or most parts stores have one that they use on customers cars at no charge. if you ask them to read which code your car is throwing, most of them will let you hit the button to clear the code. they aren't supposed to do it themselves for some reason, but from my experience they will let you.

I HAVE A 2003 MURANO WITH 145,000 MILES. AN OIL LEAK IS JUST STARTING NEAR THE OIL FILTER AREA. IS THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH THE CAUSE? IF SO WEAR IS IT LOCATED ON THIS 3.5 ENGINE?

Theres no way to know if the oil pressure switch is the cause, you are there to look at it, I'm not. But I would check real close the OIL COOLER. Its the housing between the oil filter and the block. There is a seal (o ring) between that housing and the engine block and I would suspect that seal leaking. Get it from the dealer, its cheap. Part number B1304-34U00

Is liking oil from the oil filter assembly

Check to make sure the filter is tight. If it is, remove the filter and chekc to make sure there is not "another" filter o-ring on the bottom of the filter housing. It's not all that common for oil change shops to miss a filter o-ring stuck to the housing, but it can happen, and yes, I have done it myself.

Nissan Murano 2005, the car is suddenly dead when i was waiting for trffic right, but the air conditoner was still running. I can restart the enginee, but it will die again if i don't pump the gas. Does...

Check the airbox and make sure all hoses are tightly pushed together around it. More than likely the air filter was checked and one of the hoses came loose.

2004 Murano has an oil leak near the oil filter mounting backet.

The oil filter mounts on an oil cooler housing that has an o-ring on the block side of it. The housing is held in place by the double ended connector bolt that the oil filter screws onto one side and the other goes into the block. This should be tighten to 37 ft/lbs. prior to installation of the oil filter. It may be loose or the o-ring might need replacement.

Probable cause of oil leak upper portion of oil filter

What upper portion are you talking about? Between housing and engine block? or where filter screws onto filter housing? If its where filter screws on sometimes when you chg. filter and you don't watch what your doing the old rubber Oring will stick on housing and you spin on new filter and it will leak because it will not seal because of the old Oring. Now if its comming from between the housing and block you will have to remove the housing and install a new gasget between engine block and filter housing.
