My saab starts up fine cold engine. after driving a while stop and let sit for 15-20 mins. the saab won't start.
it won't crank. No noise at all.
I have had the starter replaced;
ing switch; neutral switch
it still won't start at times when the engine is warm. let engine cool down it will crank and start
can you help?
My problem was the neutral start safety switch. The switch is right under the battery. It probably has a small crack, and when it heats up, the contacts open. Car thinks it is in gear, and won't crank. It happens only once a month for me, so I just open the hood and pour a bottle of water on the battery, it runs on the switch and cools it down. Car starts every time. New switch is $300, some day I'll replace it.

All the research is saying one of 3 things
1) Battery Connection. Make sure that battery connections a clean and tight
2) Starter
3) Safety Switch, Turn the key to crank and move the automatic lever around a bit to see if you can get it to work
Did you replace the safety switch?
