in 1980 it is pretty much forward from fuel tank to fuel pump from fuel pump to carburetor ....the return line from pump to tank

fuel pump is in the tank try to get most of gas out of tank then you need to unclip pressure line and return line and vent line unplug electric connector and remove tank there usually are no pictures for this if you need pictures you should hire it out

There are no diagrams & they wouldn't help
you drop the fuel tank & resolve the issue

There is no such diagram available. You will simply have to follow the fuel lines from the fuel rail on the engine along the truck frame rail towards the tank, or from the fuel tank along the truck frame rail towards the fuel rail on the engine. Some are on the left side frame rail and some are on the right side frame rail, depending on which engine your vehicle is equipped with. You simply have to LOOK.

well i dont have a diagram but the run from the fuel tank along the drivers side frame to a frame mounted fuel pump then up to the engine. you can figure out what one is the return line by the fuel pump. the one that does not go to it is the sending not the return.

The Lines are simple if it's a 2.4 EFI the lines run on the driver side inner rail from the center top of fuel tank, and up the middle of the firewall to the injector rail or throttle body carburetor there is also one line that runs from the evap canister back to the tank and to the fuel system three lines total one is a return line the large line is the main fuel line and has the fuel filter mounted on it and is under the driver side door inside the frame rail.
