Try reseting it by either disconnecting stereo or disconnecting battery of car. If it doesn't work, chances are you need new stereo or to fix old.

When i have the headlights etc on the audible warning sound doesnt come on to tell me i havent switched them off

If the radio has been changed with an aftermarket one. There's your problem. Also if you are having problems with the factory radio. The sounds are generated threw the radio.

Message center displays "CD Changer Error" Won't play music, or display mileage info

reset the computer by disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes.

If that doesnt work you will have to take it for repair. the dealer is very expensive on this, my experience is it is cheaper to take it to a audio specialist who is cheaper and will do a better job.

Controls for radio/cd player work on and off.

I had similar issues with my audio being mute intermittenly. I ended up being a penny in the CD player slot. (I think the previous owners kid put a penny thru the CD player slot) It also shorted out my DVD system, the DVD player would not come on. The dealership where I bought it seen me to GV Electronics to have my DVD player replaced, and they removed my CD Player and heard change banging around in the Player. After dis assembling it, they found the penny. Everytime I hit a bump or go over railroad tracks, the audio would mute.

Radio wont light up.The radio works but the cd player doesnt. This is the factory cd player also

Lighting of the lcd ? Could be an internal radio component. Check the web - seems to be fairly common with the radio ( made by Panasonic) where there is a small resistor that gets fried and results in the loss of the lighting . The CD changer also has problems.. I should know.. It happened to my 03 Accord also.. You can get a remanufactured unit on ebay for < $100 . Also, there are online tutorials on how to remove the radio. Good luck

My stereo

If you go to your local honda dealer and give them your VIN number, they should be able to look it up for no charge. Depends on if they're a bunch of you know what then they would want to be compensated.
