SOURCE: 2000 Dodge Caravan air conditioner problems

heating and cooling fans are generally one and the same. changing freon doesn't always fix the problem... did you have the system pressure checked for leaks first.

Second determine if the vents are opening properly (switching from heat to cooling) basically when you change to cool it closes air access to the heater core.

SOURCE: i have a 2000 dodge caravan, no heat

Sounds like the air "blend" door might be inoperable. This door opens and closes a specified amount to regulate the amount of either cooled or heated air, as requested by the climate control unit. If the door is continually in the position which is bypassing the heater core (cold setting), the air will not get warm regardless of the condition/operation of the heater core. I'd suggest having this component checked.

SOURCE: 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan does

The problem is a bad transistor in the resistor module located in the air duct behind the glove box. Just replace the whole module. Mine was only $17 and a ten minute job.

SOURCE: 2006 Grand Caravan: Can't get pcv valve from a 3.8 dodge grand caravan...

I just replaced mine and had the same problem. If you look at the new one, you should find a small hole at the base of the metal tube. Using a mirror, I located the same hole in the one in the valve cover and inserted a pointed awl into it and was able to pry it out. Do it slowly since you are prying against plastic. When inserting the new one, I found that it should not be inserted as far the original one was and has a gentle snap.

Washer fuse location on Dodge Grand Caravan 3,8 litre 2006? There’s holes in that place but they don’t have any contact pins

I really don't know the answer to your question but you can turn it on and test all fuses to find which is blown. Or, what I did was to place the '2006 dodge grand caravan fuse diagram' in your search box and press the search and look down the list to find which is yours. That's how I got the full diagram for my '99 ranger just to find which fuse powered the speakers so I could put a switch on it. It always drained the battery and this switch on that fuse worked. No more battery drain.

The driver seat power now works up and down and back reclines but will not move back and forward. Any ideas on what to do...It is a Grand Caravan 2006....Thanks

Either the switch or the motor is defective. You need to purchase the repair manual. It's an easy repair burr the manual will show you which wires to jump once you remove the switch, this way you can determine whether the switch is faulty or the motor. If bypassing the switch makes the seat operate correctly then the switch is the culprit. If not then it's the motor 9 out of 10 times it's the switch.

2006 dodge grand caravan replaced thermostat and radiator, still no heat?? And the van is running hot

How hot is the engine in degrees F? With a fully warmed engine are the heater hoses, hot? Check coolant flow through the heater core. If no coolant flow through the heater or engine, I'd have to check water pump.

Sometimes when the cooling system is opened, it may get air in the system, your temp gage may be reacting to air in the system?

I have a 2006 Dodge Caravan. The knob you turn to regulate the air flow for the defrost or heat/cool does not work. The rear one works fine. We've checked the fuse and the relay switch. How do we fix the...

Does the know not turn, or is there just no difference between heat and cool or ?

The knob could be faulty, or the actuator that is connected to the vent flaps that direct the air could be faulty. They are inside the venting behind the dash console and are hard to get to. The knob is connected to either vacuum hoses or electrical wiring that then run to the actuator that moves the venting flaps, heater blower motor, and another that goes to the heater core.
