Jeff, you or somebody else will have to hook up a external oil pressure Gage and verify oil pressure OK, before you have a catastrophic engine failure.
GM doesn't use a fuel pump reset button, that is Ford and Mazda (owned by Ford). GM pumps are protected by a low oil pressure cutoff switch o the engine near the oil filter (most GM engines used in this model)..
GM oil pressure senders have a pretty high failure rate. Since your van is over 10 years old, and pressure senders are not too expensive. I would start by replacing your sender...there's a pretty high likelihood that you will eventually replace it anyway. Change the oil and filter every 3000 miles and use a 10W30 with a Lucas oil treatment and with a can of Restor would not hurt ether. Getting to expensive to buy and replace a good running van over some light routine mantance for around $20.00 every 3000 to 5000 miles. Good luck and hope this helps.
it could be that your oil pump is going or it may be time for an engine over haul. unless you have recently done an oil change and used the wrong grade of oil or have gone to a very cheap oil. this is providing that your oil level is good.
remember that GM's thrive on clean oil.
