My 1995 dakota is overheating. replaced water pump, thermostat, fan. I dont know about head gasket, no water in oil, no leaks??????? i dont know what to do.
If the fan is working properly, the only thing left to check is the radiator...
i may be clogged or damaged so the water can't travel in it properly...
i forgot to tell you that you may have an air lock in your radiator...
the way to get rid of that is to open the radiator cap, start the engine and let it run until there is no more bubbles coming out of the filling hole...
just make sure that your heater is on( heat at high speed) and that you keep the radiator full at all time...
that should do the trick

I have to replace a water pump, timing chain, and thermostat on a 2000 Alero. I want to know how can I tell if the head gasket is blown before paying to have this done. The shop says they can not do the test because the water pressure is not there.
