Kill switch ????? It's called inertia fuel shut off switch . Unless you were in a accident the chance the fuel shut off switch being your problem is astronomical . If the vehicle doesn't start , checking for spark an fuel pressure and compression to find the cause of the no start problem . Given the year of the vehicle it could need a new fuel pump or fuel pump relay . If the vehicle isn't getting fuel ,viewing a wiring diagram for the fuel pump electrical circuit an testing with a DVOM - digital volt ohmmeter is the proper way to diagnose . But just to answer your question the inertia fuel shut off switch is located
According to the 2003 Ford Escape owners manual : The fuel pump inertia switch ( shut off switch ) is located in the front passenger footwell , behind a flip up cover , near the right kick panel access. Just push the button .If it was tripped it will click when pushed .

The 2014 Flex doesnt have a fuel cutoff/inertia switch like older Fords do.

I looked at owners manual for 03 ford f150, found this picture for inertia switch location.

Karl, Ford installs inertia switches in most fuel-injected vehicles.
In passenger cars, the switch is typically located in the trunk and is identifiable by the red button on its top. Switch could be behind a trim panel/ piece/door. Check the attached links,instruction and guides, Good luck

Sorry GM vehicle's don't have the inertia fuel shut off ! Ford not GM ! You have some other problem ! Relay , fuel pump , PCM ,wiring etc...

The switch should be on the transmission at the shift lever. But it won't cause shifting problems. The cranking problem could be several other things.

Toyota does not use the inertia switch cutoff.

Check the wire at the inertia switch with a test light,If there is not voltage check fuse #23 a 20amp fuse in the battery junction box located in the left rear of the engine compartment.If there is power at the inertia switch this is the last step before the fuel pump so suspect a bad pump or broken wire:)

replace the turn signal switch and it will alll go away.
