SOURCE: 1999 Olds Bravada - High Heat is always on.
I have narrowed the problem to a non-functioning climate control acctuator (a mechanical vent door opening/closing unit that mixes warm and cold air) Unfortunately it is located high in the dash and requires entire removal of dash panel. Shop repair manual states a repair time of 5.2 hours... GM parts $260 actuator $75 door panel......Online parts $60 to $175

You may have an air bubble in your coolant system. If so, use a large coolant funnel designed to purge out air bubbles. The funnel attaches to your radiator with cap removed. Check it out on line. It costs about $25.
SOURCE: Always blows cold air
I have a 98 bravada that had the same problem, and after i had to replace the water pump, it never gave me a problem again.
SOURCE: Ac/temp will not change from heat to a/c
what will cause my 2000 bravada not to start but will still try to turn over
SOURCE: My is heat is not work?My car is blowing cold air
first feel the heater core hoses see if both are hot if so then your problem is in the blend air door must be stuck on cold. is your blower motor blowing cold air if not your blower motor might be the problem. the blend air door is down by the blower motor.
