Mostly its changeable 1:1.. all supports are exactly on the same place...

It will fit... But the electronics will be different between the two engines. OBD1 vs. OBD2 as well as I don't believe it will bolt to the transmission so you would have to change it aswell.
Yes actually, there is no difference in engine bay size. You just have to make sure you get all the '98 components swapped over as well such as; power steering, A/C, radiator & hoses, and most importantly the wire harness and ECM. But, if your swapping a "phase 2" 2.2L you probably won't have to change any thing. Pretty much just as long as every thing bolts up right, it'll work.

Yes it shoul you will have to change sensors over on the engine so your computer will operate it
Yes if its of the same type.. I.E liberty have an EJ20. EJ22 and an EJ25.
Earlly model subaru sports wagon have an EJ18. same mounts and gearbox points. Clutch should also fit for the larger engine.

Yes. There are 2 types available. A 1 piece and a 2 piece. The 2 piece has a seperate turn signal. Good luck and have a good day.
