I have the same problem, the CD is stuck in there and when i press eject it just clicks there and does not come out. I tried using tweezers, paperclip, and i also removed and restored the A10 fuse for the radio on the side panel.. which was a Youtube suggestion from the following link..

I put in a CD, then my clock set back to 12:00 and the CD won't eject. The info screen says "no CD", but I know it's there!

I take a business card, take some tape(the sticky kind), in my case, electrical tape, stick it onto one end of the card with the sticky side out then insert it into the cd slot until able to stick it to the cd(top or bottom) and then pull the cd out like that.Don't forget to hit eject button while pulling cd out.

I am having the same problem with the CD player in my Malibu. Luckily it is still under warrantee for another 2 weeks. Took it into the dealer yesterday and they are going to replace the entire radio because of this problem. So, if you still are under warrantee, get it taken care of.

My wife has the same problem on her 2004 Malibu Maxx. Disconnect the battery. Reconnect the battery and it should pop right out. It will eventually get stuck again though. Still working on why it sticks, but at least I know how to get it out.

Chevrolet 2005 Malibu. CD is stuck in the stereo. How do I remove the dash around the stereo. So I can remove the stereo to get fixed

Sometimes you can press and hold down the CD's forward and backward track buttons or play and eject buttons to release the CD. Contact your Chevy dealer and ask a Service Consultant if the Delco unit has this feature.

05 chevy malibu cd player wont take cds. Acts like a cd is stuck

This isn't good for any cd's, but take another cd and jam it in there, not all the way in but hold on to it so you can jam it in and out, If therees a cd in there, it wont be anymore.

2004 MALIBU CD CHANGER/ STUCK CD

My CD player did the same thing on my 2005 Chevy Malibu MAXX LS.  I know it sounds weird, but disconnect the car battery from the car (resetting the whole car system), and then reconnect.  I pressed the eject button on the console, and it ejected my CD with no problem.
