Bumper Replacement - Front (Old Style) Removal Procedure 1. Remove the front grille. Image ---1 2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fog lamps,
if equipped. Image---2 3. Remove the retaining bolts (1,2) from the front bumper. 4. Remove the brace bolt (3) from the front bumper. 5. Remove the front bumper assembly from the vehicle. 6. Remove the air deflector from the bumper if necessary. 7. Remove the fog lamps, if equipped. Installation Procedure 1. Install the fog lamps, if equipped. 2. Install the air deflector to the bumper if necessary. 3. Position the front bumper assembly on the vehicle. Image---3 Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Important: Tighten the bolts in the following sequence. 4. Install the retaining bolts (1,2) to the front bumper. 1. Tighten the bracket bolt (1) to 85 N.m (63 lb ft). 2. Tighten the bracket bolt (2) to 85 N.m (63 lb ft). 3. Tighten the brace bolt to 55 N.m (41 lb ft). Image---4 5. Connect the electrical connector to the fog lamps, if
