My car (1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme) had been driving roughly so I took it in to get the oil filter changed, air filter changed, and the fuel filter changed. After I got all the new filters in it was running a little better but still rougher than normal. SO my partners co worker put in new plugs and wires for us. After he installed the new plugs and wires I went to start the car and it made the worst noises I had ever heard it make. It would stay on for about 10 seconds, back fire, and then die. If i try to put it in any gear it back fires and dies. We had his co worker re check the wires and such and he said he did them right. Any Ideas?
Have you checked to make sure the spark plugs were gapped properly for your car
