I am trying to replace the oil pan on my 2007 Chevrolet Uplander. So far I have removed the 12 oil pan bolts, removed the starter, moved the oil cooler out of the way, removed 3 brackets attached to the pan, and removed to bolts mounting the pan to a bracket underneath the passenger side of the pan. The pan is not budging at this point. There is not enough room to get a putty knife at the seal and I have tried pursuading it with a sledge to no avail. Any insight on getting this thing free would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you
I've had this problem on mine. Found out the reason was because there's four bolts on the side of the pan two on each to be exact and their 13mm nuts same as the ones around the oil pan once those are removed your pan would drop easily. Be safe, wear safety goggles ?? and good luck

I am not sure, But there could be six more bolts to remove. They will be on the side of the pan, about half way up. three on each side. Sorry for guessing, I work on to many makes and models. Also the gaskets do hold the pan on tight sometimes. If there are no extra bolts then carefully pry it off.
