Only the front brakes on my 2008 town and country appear to be applying

Have the proportioning valve checked on it. This valve reduces braking power to the rear brakes under hard braking to keep the rear brakes from locking up due to less weight on rear wheels. When malfunctioning it can cause the rears to not apply at all.

Town & country 2008 shaking when pressing the brakes

This could be bad rotors or bad bearings. Check to see what a brake shop would charge you to get them done. Then go to an autoparts store and see what new rotors cost. They are easy to change and you can then decide. If you want to know if the rotors are WARPED, you use a dial indicator to check them.

I replaced the brake pads on a 2008 Town & Country, but I still hear a slicing noise when I turn left from the front right wheel.

the only metal to metal noise that can be generated from the brake area is the retaining spring for the pads or the wheel bearing.jack up the wheel and try for play....

When the van is driven my front end is making a knocking noise my front driver side wheel shakes and the steering wheel shakes

Front wheel drive cars have CV joints in the axles to permit the wheel to turn for steering. The CV joint is basically a universal joint on steroids. When they ware out it can cause this type of condition.
