Sorry to say but it might be the PCM which is under the hood and soaking it is a bad idea. If it is dead you might be able to have it flashed , if not you will have to replace it and do not soak it again, they do not like water, as does any computer.

Oh, no! I guess it was a good thing it was running- at least he got it home. Never pressure wash the engine bay, or you could...be like robin shaw. Better copyright your tale of woe, Ms., it has the potential of a classic!
You didn't say, does the starter still crank the engine over? I would guess maybe not, if you got no headlights either. That in itself points to the Power Distribution Box, which is next in line after the battery in the power distribution scheme for the truck. And all those relays and fuses in the box are not protected by waterproof connections...This would be a good place to start! First take the negative cable off the battery. Don't want power present when pulling things apart. Have an air compressor with a blow gun attachment? That may help, or also a hair dryer, can of compressed air. anything but an open flame, lol. And hey, go buy a spray can of quick drying Electronic Cleaner, made by CRC brand, available at Napa, probably elsewhere as well. It really works good. And just be methodical, work from the battery power onward in the circuits, checking for water intrusion, drying everything you can get to, get some of it coming back on, the headlights, the starting circuit, work your way to the ignition circuit.
If still no help, you may have to get drastic: Take the battery out- all the way out. Negative off first, of course. Look at the lay out of the engine bay. You need to remove everything in the way of the underlying electrical and ignition components. Is battery tray in the way? Air breather box and the big air tube? Get down to the nitty gritty electrical circuits and get all the water out.
Keep me posted, please. Hope you get it and share the pain-lol.

SOURCE: Electrical problem

I just had the same issues. No headlights, interior lights, power door locks, radio controls on steering wheel, or dash lights. Pulled every fuse in cab and under hood, not a one was bad. I disconnected the battery terminals for a few minutes. When I reconnected them every thing was working.

The remote is fine - your problem is the lock actuators in the doors. They're a bit of a pain to replace - so, you may want to have a professional do it.

Car wont stay Running,Door wont Lock-Unlock, Radio dont work and Trunk Pop don't work

It appears that you have an electrical short somewhere. If you are mechanically inclined and have hours of time and electrical knowledge, good luck! Sometimes these problems can be easily found where the wiring harness runs through the firewall from the fuse panel under the dash to the engine compartment relay box. Vibrations of the engine over time on a vehicle over 10 years old will chafe the wires over time on places where the wires lay over body frame components. Also heat and time on a cars wiring harness over a decade can damage wiring in the engine compartment or along exhaust manifold underneath. Try looking in those places for visible damage before tearing out all the interior or dash.
