Losing RPMs while Steering to the Right

Van drives and shifts well. Problem is while driving or making a right turn, the rpms will downshift and at times completely idle. If that happens, I put it in neutral and restart it. It will turn over and drive like nothing happened. This happens only when turning to the right, at a stop going on an offramp or even curvy roads.

Check for wiring that moves when you turn the wheel. The harness may be tangled in the steering linkage. This could be under the car or under the dash by the steering column. It could even be the ignition switch wiring.

Is the check engine light on? If so it may be the idle air control motor that needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Not shifting into drive

not shifting into drive......how you going 60mph? downhill with the wind behind you?

You put it in drive and its "not shifting into drive" what happens then? If it doesn't shift into drive, you're not moving. If you're moving, You can feel it shift. The rpms change. keep track.

04saab93linear rpms spike up when going down hills slowly

This is a common feature on many cars. If you press the brake on the way down the hill, the transmission will downshift and keep RPMs high in order to prevent your speed from increasing too much. If this bothers you, you can simply shift into neutral and brake manually. The only other option is to coast freely down the hill without brakes. No brakes = no downshift = no high RPMs.

Front end and steering wheel shakes

when slowing to make right turn is it more like a clicking noise, does it do it while turning or just when slowing down. If it is while you are turning it is most likely the right cv axle drive shaft popping. When at a stop with ac on does it shake if you put it in park and how do the rpms read in park or in drive. Did they change the trans mount also dont thank that is it just trying to get a better understanding so I can better assist you.

2000 grand caravan won't go above 70 mph. high rpms

First I need to ask is it a 4 speed or a 3 speed transmission. If it's a 4 speed when driving down the road pull it from drive to third gear. You shpuld hear the engine speed up if it does not then that means you have on 4th gear and you will have to take it to a transmission shop. If it's a 3 speed then just count the shift points if all 3 gears are present then drive down the road and see if the van goes into tcc. When you mean the rpms are high how high are they.
