Radio input question

I have a 2005 GMC full size crew cab with a stock 6 disc radio. Is there a aux input on the stock GM 6 disc radio head unit. Would like to play mp3 and use a portable xm unit. Also the stock radio head unit is xm ready, but i would like to use my portable unit. Would like to tie the portable unit into the stock radios xm antanna. Is this possible?

sounds like a standard system to me but i think the bose has little tags on all the speaker grills that say bose

Check the oil first, the low oil sensor will disable the ignition if more than a quart low. Miles on this truck warrant a new fuel pump and fuel filter. GM fuel pumps, don't handle Methenol Fuel very well.(water).

Did you remove the actual radio or just the control head , because the radio itself under the dash on the right hand side of the brake pedal just above the accelerator.

This is a well known issue with model years 2003 thru 2005. There is a chance GM will replace it under recall... Call the Chevy Customer Assistance Center 1-800-630-2438 to find out.

Aux input location
Though I'm sure there is an AUX button on the radio, there isn't actually an auxillary port on a 2007 Grand Prix stock radio.I'm sorry to say, but you would have to get an aftermarket radio.
