Where is the fuse for the factory amp my radio works but no sound

There may be a fuse located directly on the amp, but ultimately there should be one on the stock fuse block for the vehicle located inside the cab

I see no answeres to know questions

Hi Tony:
If it is a stock radio, the fuse should be in the fuse panel. Check the user manual or google an enquiry with make, model, and year, with the key words -radio fuse location.
If it is an aftermarket radio it may have an in-line fuse on the electrical supply. Finding that may involve some searching and wire tracing.
Cheers.

Fuse box locations

the cd has wires,
if stock the cars FSM covers this.
if not stock CD (stock BTW means, as lift left the factory)
if not stock, CD, then .
A: get brand and pn of this unit,
b: get the manual on line from maker or whomever.
c: now you see which wires are power, follow them.

be aware if the cars radio fuse is good, then the car
has a bad CD or is wired no stock.
some audio gear, have an inline fuse near it, or was added upstream. or has a fuse the GEAR.
those are the steps... if you had told the name of CD gear
and model number, this all is acedemic (easy)

Radio doesn't work

If it is an aftermarket radio (one you or someone other than the dealership installed) then it could be a number of things. it could be a faulty or broken radio, the wiring could be hooked up wrong, or it could just be a blown fuse which, in some cases, is located on the back of the radio itself, under the hood in a fuse box, in the glove compartment, under the passenger side of the dash, or on the very driver side that is only accessable when the door is open. If it is a stock radio (one that came with the car when it was made) then it is probubly just a blown fuse in one of the locations mentioned above. hope this helps.

Cigarette lighter/acc outlet for 2003 chevy malibu not working. Figure it's a fuse - where is this fuse located in the fuse box? I know where the boxes are just can not find that particular fuse.

It may be doubled up with either the radio fuse or the interior lights. If you have replaced the stock radio with a CD player, then the CD player has its own fuse separate of the fuse box. I would start there...

I replaced the stock radio with an aftermarket one and my tail lights and dash lights dont work now

Most likely you got the illumination wire for the stock radio grounded. The stock radio has lights in it that are connected to the dash lights to illuminate the dials of the radio. Most aftermarket stereos don't have a hook up for that. The wire may have got hooked up to ground. I would check the fuse to see if it's bad. Also you might want to undo the new stereo, replace the fuse, if it's bad, and check the wires for battery when the headlights are on.
