I changed the bulbs for the brake lights, checked the fuse which is fine, but the brake lights still dont work, any ideas?
You have to check the brake light switch which should be around the brake pedal on the upperside.
Ones located rremove the wires tht go to the switch and jump them by using a piece of wire, thn check if the brake lights come 'on'. If they do , thn its the switch tht may need replacing or even sometimes adjusting inorder to operate.
Hope this helps.

I had my mechanic look and unfortunately it could be a shortage in your swich, maybe wires are crossed or grounded. The issue I am having I have no dash lights and no tail lights. My fuse blows violently so I believe unfortunatley they will have to get to my wire harness and check it out from there. Hope yours goes better then mine.
02 Ford Taurus everything works but the brake lights...back up lights work and when u turn the lights on the taillights work only. put new bulbs in and checked the fuses and the brake light switch
