STARTS DRIVES MINT THEN INTER MINTENT FAULT SOUNDS LIKE KNOCKING IN ENGINE LOW POWER CUTS OUT AND ONLY STOP LIGHT ON THEN TURN OF ATHER A FEW REPEAT STARTS FINE AND DRIVES MAYBE FOR A HOUR OR EVEN ADAY , WHEN STARTING FROM COLD LOADS OF WHITE SMOKE COMES OUT
Hi had same problem on a 04 reanult trafic 100dci changed the EGR valve but no success then changed the fuel filter and new seals and its been fine ever since hope this helps

check the maf sensor and the boost pressure sensor also check the boost pipe fitting where it goes into the inlet manifold they block up and also the fitting on the vac pump blocks up resulting in no vac to the turbo control solinoid also turbos are rubish on these seize or shear turbo shafts ect blah blah blah i could go on
Renault traffic when stationary will normally not exceed from idling to reving 3000 unless in motion on the road. I presume that this is a F9Q *** DCI engine This is not an easy problem to solve and will probably need some special tools to make the proper assumption, like a certain tool that can measure the return from the diesel injectors anyhow I'd probably place my money that most likely that the diesel injectors have a problem and I believe they're not cheap I hope this information has helped you in some way.
the lead injector is reading a fault ,but this is a renault?? and these meganes use encrypted software which only a renault dealer have access too via the internet with fingerprint recognition to connect so either sell car quick and buy a ford mondeo or have your wallet raped by the main dealer .ANY ATTEMPT TO TOUCH ANYTHING YOURSELF WILL ACTIVATE THE IMMOBILLISOR
my trafic did the same.no power pulling away until the turbo kicked in and it turned out to be the airflow meter.Hope this helps as it cured mine.Plus non of them rev past 3800 revs its normal.
Check all ground connections and clean them thoroughly. If I was a gambling man, I would lay down money on it being a bad ground. It likely is a combination of all the ground connections being poor.
