My 95 Acura Integra wont crank when I try to start it. jumping it does not seem to work. For the last couple of months it would make a clicking noise when I started it. Is this my starter?
This happened to me on a 95 Integra GSR and the entire starter did not need to be replaced, just the solenoid pieces. They get old and worn down and the plunger no longer makes a good connection with them, hence the "click". Replace the solenoid panels and sand the plunger and your good as new. You can find instructions for this on the net, just do a search for it.
Starter or bad ground wire
Yea im pretty sure its the starter i have an 91 integra and it was doing the same thing it would jus click but not crank at all mos likely u will need to replace it. . is your car automatic or manual?

hi b4 renewing starter ? try this connect a jump lead to the battery negative/earth connector then the other end of lead to a suitable earth point directon engine try starting now if it works ? then problem is the batteries earth connection lead to the engine and chassis/body ? is not good or corroded/loose but by using /bypass earth direct to engine will verify this if above works as you say jump/doner battery does not work ? also check the leads/wires connected to starters solenoid are clean/secure ? this is considering age of car ?
