I have a 1995 Buick Park Ave. The AC worked fine up until a couple days ago. When I went to turn off the AC it would not shut off. The Blower motor was still going and it was going at full speed. I then shut car off and took key out of ignition...the blower motor still stayed on. I did not want to get a dead battery so I started pulling out fuses(any ones that had to do with AC. I pulled the AC fuse from under hood and the blower motor stopped. My buddy was in the car and I told him to start up car to see if climate control display worked etc. I THEN (not thinking)put the AC fuse back in. There was a spark and i thought i blew the fuse but No Fuse is fine. Now When I put the AC/Heat on nothing comes out at all. The blower motor does not come on. Can someone help me? 1 thing i know its not is the actual climate control center piece (right under radio) b/cuz i have another 95 park ave and swapped them and still blower motor doesnt come on.
Replace your blower motor relay. It's located under the hood on the firewall passenger side.
Sounds like the BLOWER MODULE located UNDER THE HOOD on the evaporator housing. Has 2-3 connectors on it . Used to see this problem on a regular basis. When this is occurring, tap the module and the blower will stop. Confirming need of replacement. Expensive part, but relatively easy to replace. Hope this helps
My bets are on the blower control module as this car doesn't have the relay. (not used in climate control cars)
You might have actually shorted the blower motor itself. You have a problem somewhere with wiring thats why it wouldn't shut off.Try swapping motors and see what happens, also look for burnt wires.
cadmann000 seems to know what he is talking about I would try that first unless that is null by now. trace the wires if possible from the fusebox to the motor, check relays. easiest way to check the blower motor is to swap it with one you know works
I'm looking for a climate control unit for a 1995 Buick park avenue. Still got that extra one??

Hello. I have a 1994 Buick Park Avenue Ultra and the climate control module isn't working. Nothing is showing up on the display the screen is just black. I know power is getting to it because when you press the auto, heat, ac, or any button it peeps. Even at night when the headlights are on the buttons on are lite up but when you go to press a button to turn it on there is nothing. No heat no ac the display screen is blacked out. I've purchased another climate control module and it's doing the same thing. I checked the fuses under the driver side dashboard and under the hood and they are good. It's cold outside and I really need this repaired. I hope you can advise me with great. Thanks!

The switch for that light is on the e-brake assy. If you look above the pedal there will be a one wire switch on the mechanism.
SOURCE: RE: 1991 Buick Park Ave. climate control stopped
IT MEANS U HAVE A LOW SYSTEM REFRIDGERENT CHARGE BECAUSE OF A LEAK AND NEED TO REPAIR IT AND HAVE THE SYSTEM RECHARGED, MOST COMMON SOURCE OF LEAK IS ac COMPRESSOR FRONT SHAFT SEAL

Thanks for the input. Is there any way i can test the blower motor? Where can I look for burnt wires.............should i start from the back of the fuse box where I put the AC fuse back in or? Thanks again.
Cadman000 was right on the money with my Blower motor problem. It was the Blower Module. Although I had the module from my other Buick I checked prices. On ebay the blower motor module Part #12484912 is $90 (Brand New). If anyone else has this problem (blower motor staying on, ignition off) "kpwillis"(apprentice) has complete instructions posted with pictures. kpwillis problem was with a 91 park ave, mine is a 95 but based on his pics and what to do its the exact same setup on both cars. Thanks again
It only turn off when I remove fuse
