04 f150 jerking going uphill

I have an '04 f150 5.4l with 65k miles that jerks when going uphill. Transmission seems to shift fine but it has seemed to lose a considerable amount of power recently. Possibly a fuel system problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Only does it going uphill. It doesn't have to be a steep grade of hill either. Once you accelerate while its doing it, it stops jerking and drives fine. Also, no warning light of any kind is on.

extremely odd, I was hoping you would say hard acceleration too....lol
then i could have pointed at the coils.
then again it could be possible that one or more of the coils is weak.
you'll have to take to dealer for a check on that.

have you checked the air filter?
    fuel filter?

does it do it on hard acceleration also or just uphill?
is there an engine light or mil light on?

Ignition timing would be #1 on the list. Also check your plug wires, or change them. Check your air filter, and change the fuel filter. It could also be your egr system, faulty ignition coil, or a vacuum leak at the intake manifold.

Jaguar transmission problems

Depends in the mileage since the transmission was last serviced. It sounds like low pressure from the pump. It could be just a filter. You did not say where the leaking seal is, but a leaking seal will not fix itself.

04 nissan sentra shifting hard

Do you have a CVT? (Continuosly Variable Transmission) I doubt that you do so if you dont, nissans are known to have hard shift into second gear you mean.(Once the car moves, its already in first gear) so if it shifts fine into other gears, I wouldnt worry too much unless it gets worse.

2004 maxima - transmission stuck w/engine shut off

It sounds like a tork conveter lockup switch, have the transmisson serviced oil and filter changed then and add Lucas transmisson treatment to help smooth out hte shifting pattern and stop the problem if there was drag on the clutches it may have stalled out.

Jerks going into 3rd Gear

more than likely you will need a valve body rebuild. you are probably looking around $500+. don't let them try to sell you a transmission. you could search ebay and see if you can find a "rebuilt valve body" but make sure it is for a '00 to '02 SL2
