Car ran fine yesterday, then started and ran poorly today. Drove car around the block. Check engine light - emissions control warning - traction control warning - then shut car off - and now it will just crank without starting. System check now reads: Engine safety shutdown. Has codes stored for throttle faults. Ideas?

It was the throttle pedal. It has two readings (one for each side of the engine) and one of the readings was stuck at 99% the other was at 0%. It would not let the car start under that condition. No reason it failed. Just electrical bug.
