Friend, I've come across this situation many times and what happens is when the engine is in cold start mode, the computer is dumping extra fuel into the engine to help it start. Like the early style choke. Problem is, the heat sensor in the intake manifold is bad and the computer, after warm up, still thinks the engine is not warm and keeps it in cold start mode and still dumping extra fuel into the engine and flooding it so it will not start. Replace the temperature sending unit which is a cheap and easy repair.

hard starting problems when engine hot could be restricted air filter.restricted clogged fuel injectors.engine could either be diesel or gasoline.if engine dont start and starter wont turn over engine. could have bad battery ground cable or battery positive cable could have broken place when cable get hot crack increases cause less current engine wont have enough power to turn over.
there's a host of things that would do that, one is your starter Bendix could be getting hot, when it cools your able to start again, but as I've said many things can do that , maybe a ignition module his breaking down when it gets hot. Mike j
In a lot of cases, this is an indication that the starter is faulty. A bad starter will often start a car when it's cold (ie first thing in the morning or after sitting a few hours). Once hot, the starter requires more and more energy to turn over. If when hot, you are able to start the car with a jump start, the starter would be the first place to investigate.
What is the condition of the starter ? Is this an engine hard to turn over problem when hot ? If so, the starter might be grounding out, this happens only when the casing is hot.
Take your title to the dealer, they should be able to make you a key, also do you hot wire hot to ACC/ON hit Start, then release back to on when it turns over? It may not run if you have anti-theft.
Take the fuel line off before the filter and turn the key on and see if you get any fuel out of the line. If you don't get any fuel unplug the wire connector to the fuel pump turn the key on and see if you get a hot wire going to the pump. if you get a hot wire then it is your pump. If you do not get any hot wire then it should be the relay.
