Problem comes and goes. Last time put truck in nuetral had no effect. It has happened 3 times now. Twice at about 65-70mph, once at about 45 mph.
Check transfluid, mine was happening while it was in overdrive. Then I found this solution on the web and this guy said it was the transfluid dip stick. They are not reading correctly and to over fill it, and the rumble will stop.
When was the last time your wheels where spin balanced? Have the tires checked for wheel balance its probably out of balance. It will cause the tires to cup and it will make flat spots on the tires. To check rubb your hand over tire make sure tires don't have cupping on the outside tread and or flat spots through out the tire. Cupping - one tread is slightly higher than the rest.
Flat spots- center of tire will be flat or it could be all over the tire.

sound like your limited slip clutch in the differental is worn, normally you shouldn't be able without alot of force to turn one of the tires.... inspect the clutches or replace the fluid and retest....simple way to check the rear bearings is to remove the axle and spin the wheel and listen....GL

Do you have the problem when you turn on the car as well? I had this same problem, turns out the alternator was going bad. A few months later the alternator went. After the alternator was replaced, the problem went away.
