They both blow fuses. The sockets did not quit working at the same time, so it should not be a problem common to both. I figured the sockets themselves must have went bad (they are used a lot). I replaced the sockets but they still blow fuses. Any ideas?

That joint & where wires separate, would be a good spot to use a clamp on amp meter, if you have, or know someone who has one, then you could get reading on each one, and zero in on one(s) with most draw.

I would trace the wire from the horn and see if it was inadvertently damaged when the alternator was installed. If you have a voltmeter, you can remove the horn fuse and check to see if there is continuity between the horn (non hot side) of the fuse and the car body. This would indicate a short in the wire running from the fuse box to the horn. You can also look around the alternator mounting area to see if any wires are being pinched. Hope this helps. Good luck!

SOURCE: the accessory power supply, not the cigarette lighter, isn't working. Which fuse do I replace?
The car makers sometimes do not list power outlet, the best thing is to test all the fuses, let me see if i can find a fuse diagram for your 2000 sienna,..................okay fuse is labeled as power outlet and is in the inside fuse box not the engine compartment fuse box, here is a diagram of the fuse box i circled the fuse ,the fuse box is located on the driver side under the left side of the cluster, good day.
