Take the line to a brake shop and have a new one made to the shape .Steel lines have an double flare and it this is not performed properly the line will again break at the fitting. This is a legal requirement from the transport authority.

Is there a sensor for the brake light to stay on in a 1978 corvette

Two reasons for the brake light to be on. 1) Parking brake and 2) problem with pressure in the brake lines.
If the parking brake is off and the ignition is on but the brake light stays on, then there's a problem with the switch attached to the parking brake. It might be stuck or broken.
If the brake light goes on when you apply the brakes, there is an imbalance somewhere in the brake lines between front and back wheels. This light usually goes out when your foot is off the brake, but if it stays on, the switch in the brake lines near the master cylinder might be stuck or broken.

05 sorento v6. Auto.brake pedal sinks to floor. Reservoir empty. Fluid leaking down chassis around offside rear footwell area near to fuel tank. Lines run along this area. Could it simply be lines failed...

it is a brake problem that needs to be repaired before driving it. Based on what you describe the caliper piston seal has failed, or a broken/cracked brake line. Repairs would be cheaper than an accident, with possible injuries and lawsuits.

What would cause there to be no brakes what so ever even after replacing all the broken brake lines and bleeding them all on a 2003 Hyundai elantra?

if this has anti-lock brakes it may be the HCU(hydraulic control unit) may have air in it. it may have to be activated to get all the air out.

You have a broken brake line somewhere on the truck. and if not a broken line then you need to bleed the whole brake system. Hope this helps.

I have a broken brake line above my gas tank and I can not find a diagram to show me if the line runs straight across the tank or if there are other connecting lines above the gas tank that I can not see....

Look at the differential housing and you'll find a "T" with a flexible line going to that broken line above the tank. Cut and connect another a replacement line from front of tank around to the "T" and then bleed the rear brakes. The single line feeds both rear brakes from that "T" and there are no other lines connected to it. Done this way will keep you from having to drop the fuel tank to get to the line to replace it.

Broken brake line near the back drivers side door. i need to know what one is broken and how i could fix it myself

You would have to replace the entire brake line from the front to the rear by disconnecting the entire line inch by inch until it is free from the vehicles body. Replace this and don't go for remedies as this is the braking system of the car, everything relies on this.
