SOURCE: Scheduled Maintenance

If you live in an area of frequent high humidity, it might be a good idea to do it as a preventative measure since both brake and power steering fluids are hygroscopic and could absorb enough water to affect their performance. Since most hydraulic fluids also suffer from exposure to heat over time, that might also weigh in the decision.
I probably would not personally opt for it since your mileage and the age of your car don't seem to justify it. These things always seem like the medical equivalent of tonsillectomies; a (related) doctor once told me that those were often not necessary and could be treated with medication unless chronic, but they were safe surgeries and helped pay the rent.
I do recall being told by an automatic transmission specialist that unless something failed, don't do anything to it. He said the changing and flushing could introduce contamination that otherwise wouldn't be there.

SOURCE: what recommended service is there for the 2005

Definately do the plugs and wires, air filter, Transmission service, Brake fluid flush, coolant flush, power steering flush and differential (if applicable to your car) if money allows. Priority would be plugs and wires, air filter, trans service and coolant for now And then work your way down.

My chevy has about 98000 miles. When is tune up recommended.what is involved in the tune up?

what engine? The fuel filter is in the fuel tank, Spark plugs should be replaced, throttle body cleaned, and the truck generally checked over, battery , belts, brakes, tires ect. Spark plugs, trans fluid, filter, transfer case fluid change, are all due at 100k. You should have the 100K service done. Of course they base that on if you have been following the service schedule. Your owners manual will list all things that are due.

Im in the process of buying a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer, it's beautiful and from the outer and inner apperance it's very well taken care of.. The problem is it has 140,000+ miles.. When I mention...

That really depends on the quality and quantity of maintenance done on the vehicle. With 140+K miles your looking at 20 - 23K miles per year. Does the owner have service records, were all the manufacturer's recommended maintenance done at the proper intervals. Has the transfer case fluid been changed every 50K miles? Front and rear differential fluids at 100K? Any transmission service work done? Plugs should have been changed at around 100K.

I have a 2006 Equinox which is about to turn 100,000 miles. What maintenance should I have done. I need it to last through the summer and take a couple of long distance drives.

With that kind of mileage, and you plan on traveling - I'd start with a complete tune up - plugs, all fluids & fitters, check belts & hoses.

When should i change the timing belt on my grand vitara there is 46000 kl/m on the clock, and also how often should i change the engine oil.

For most all timing belts, the 100,000 mile marker is when the belt should be changed. The belts are designed to work for 100+ thousand miles, but recommended checking/changing is at 100K miles.

Have 65000 miles what has to be done to keep up my motor

Your best longevity check is to set up and maintain a consistent oil and filter replacement schedule...Depending on your planned driving habits...your owners manual should recommend you change these every 5000-7500 miles or every 3 months whichever occurs first. Oil products have inproved for many years. The synthetic oil blends are the best for performance and mileage...most exceed your Cadillac specs...Mobil 1, and Castrol full synthetic are by preferences...No special tune-up or other maintenance should be needed at this time...watch for serpentine belt...100,000 miles...plugs and plug wires...100,000 miles...suspension parts vary between 75K to 100K before replacement...Hope this helps.
