Basically what you want to do here is put a 25 watt bulb across the blown fuse.the dead short will limit the current to 2 amps and light up the light bulb.check all the wires in the ignition circuit one at a time, disconnecting them one at a time until the bulb goes out.then you know which line is drawing current. to blow a 30 amp fuse, that is 360 watts.looks like a short in a wire somewhere,or the ignition module that drives the ignition is shorted.find the module that is connected to the coil packs and disconnect it.see if the short is still there..

Reset circuit Breakers for 2001 Pontiac Bonneville

The 30amp circuit breaker for the power windows is in the fuse box in the engine compartment.
But it resets itself if it blows. Thats why its a circuit breaker instead of a fuse.
From there the power goes to both front door control modules then to the door switches.

Engine fan keeps running

It's possible that the fan control relay is intermittently sticking causing the fans to run continuously. This can overheat and subsequently blow the fuse. Try replacing the relay and see if anything changes.

Hope this helps.
