Need right torque specs for front shock absorber upper and lower nuts

I work for a Dodge Dealership. There are no torque specs for the upper or the lower ball joints on any of the Chrysler Vehicles. As long as you get them as tight as you can they will be fine, don't worry they are held in by road force anyway. Note: Be careful that you don't strip-out the nuts by getting them to tight.

Torque there is 175 foot pounds if yours has a cotter pin through it, don't loosen to align hole...go tighter.

If you have a impact you can try spinning it until it snaps.I'm not sure how much clearance you have .Is there enough above the nut for a vise-grip.More than likely you will have to smack it with a hammer (bend it back and forth),not sure if there is room to put a nut slitter on it.Or hack saw it off if you are limmited on tools.
