My 1997 chevy blazer only cranks over

Intill you spray starter fluid into the breather. Then will start and run fine.

Probably intake manifold leaks. Especially if you're using starting fluid. People just don't get it that ether is made for diesel engines, and will cause nothing but damage to a gas engine, if you're luck enough to not blow your head off.

My 2004 Chevy Blazer stopped running when I turned it off and I have not been able to get it to start up again

Does it crank over and not run or does not crank over at all? If it cranks over then spray some starter fluid down the throttle body. If it starts, then you have a fuel problem. Check your fuel pressure. Some of these v6 require at least 45 psi to start. If it does not start, then pull off a plug wire and check for spark.

Hi,

I would check n replace the fuel filter if needed. Also, it could be one of the spark plugs. Was it running before? Can you think of anything that happened or changed recently?

2002 Chevy Blazer, car will crank but not start. Just changed the fuel filter and sprayed some starter fluid in the hose and the car started for a few seconds and then died again. Is there any way it could...

it could be a fuel pump they are quite common on the chevy trucks and SUV's. If it has a "Vortec" engine which it probably does, they run whats called a poppet nozzle fuel injecter that requires i think no less than abaout 53 psi of fuel pressure to run, you would have to put a fuel pressure guage on it to be sure and they are quite expensive
