Sounds like you have some major fuse blowout issues. Ther are fuses under the dash, and fuses under the hood. But before you play with the ones under the hood, be sure to disengage the battery terminals. Check all the fuses. Check out the fuse layout to ensure you have all the ones you need. Can get replacement fuses at any autozone or whatever. This is the cheapest and easiest start to finding out your problem. It is time consuming, but you may also find out any other problems before they hit you at a later time. IE, for ford explorers, there has been a problem with the rear wiper motor going out and causing a battery drain that will kill it within 24-36 hours if the fuses are not pulled for the rear wiper motor. Hopefully this helped some. If not, I am sorry to say it may be a more expensive fix. Sounds electrical, I know autozone will do a free power diagnostic check on the truck. After that, good luck!

Your oil pressure guage won't work unless the engne is running.
As with all electrical problems, they are VERY hard to solve wihtout the vehicle being in front of me.
It could be your starter, your stater connections, your ignition switch, or, or, or
Your best bet is to call your local dealer and ask for an appointment to have them search out your problem, they have all the right tools to do that.
There's no way to even guess at electrical problems without your car in front of me.
I hope this helps some.

SOURCE: No brake lights but fuse is good. Wiring appears okay.
Isnt there a switch on the brake pedal inside under the dash? There should be power going in and out when depressing the brake pedal. If there is a pressure switch, then check it when the brake pedal is up and then depressed. it should have power on one side up, and both when depressed. One thing to keep in mind that I think it goes through the turn signal switch, so if blinkers work, that tells you the wiring is good to the lights, so concentrate on power getting to and out of the turn signal switch.
